In my last post I asked if you wanted to see some of my recent skin care saviours that I had been using and loving at the moment . A lot of you guys said yes, so here it is! I will be posting my daily skin care routine in the near future but for now here’s some skin care products that I can’t stop using!
It’s Potent! eye cream from Benefit Cosmetics.
A lot of people seem to say to me ‘oh you don’t need an eye cream’ but I feel like I do. As a teenager I was always pulling at my eyes, rubbing them, picking off mascara, being rough when removing my under eye make up etc. I know the skin underneath and around my eyes is very delicate. I like to try and keep it moisturised as much as possible. So every night (and morning if I have time) I gently place a dab of this around each eye and leave it to soak in. This is a brightening eye cream so I find it really helps with my dark circles, and will prevent fine lines in the future or at least put them off a little while (fingers crossed)
Dragon’s blood hyaluronic mask from Rodial.
I have been using this every night before bed for over two weeks now, I have one word for it – godsend. I love this mask. You can choose to wear it for 15 minutes or so and wash it off, or leave it on overnight before bed. I have a few fine lines on my forehead from when I was a teenager (a prescribed cream thinned out a patch of skin really badly) I know, they shouldn’t bother me and everyone else says you can’t see them, but I can. this has seriously plumped up my skin, I feel like it’s slowly but surely filling in those lines. I wake up and my skin looks and feels so soft. I love it when you find a skincare product that really does work wonders.
Micellar cleaning water – Garnier
I know it’s the lazy girls way to taking make up off, but it’s better than just using wipes right? I usually leave a bottle of this at Tom’s house because it’s so quick and easy to just wipe my make up off. It’s gentle on my skin and doesn’t feel harsh. It’s the all-in-one simple and quick solution to taking my face off with a few cotton wool pads, when I’m in a hurry or I’m not at home with access to my bathroom full of deep cleansers. What do you think? Are you a Micellar water fan?
Hand Dream super cream from Soap & Glory.
Soap & Glory’s products always smell so amazing, I always get asked what smells so nice when I use this. My mum loves it too and kept stealing my tube so I bought her, her own to use! I think it’s easy to forget to moisturise your hands every now and again. This leaves a velvet like texture on my skin and I just love how soft my hands feel after using it. I love that it absorbs super quickly too, as I can’t stand thick creams that take ages to sink into the skin!
What do you think of my skincare saviours? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments 🙂
