July 2015 Birchbox The Birchbag

This months Birchbox is a little different, it’s actually a Birchbag. So this month your goodies come in a cute waterproof neon pouch, pink is Ibiza, green is Hydra, yellow is Somerset and orange is St. Tropez. I was lucky enough to receive the pink Ibiza bag to review. Handy as I love pink (as if you didn’t already know that!) If you want to avoid any spoilers then stop reading now, but if you want to take a little peek at the contents of this months Birchbox then keep scrolling…

balance me birchbox

Congested skin serum by Balance me.

This product jumped out at me straight away as my skin and pores are always congested. What I love about this is, it didn’t dry my skin out, similar products i’ve tried before really dehydrate my skin leaving it flaky which we all know doesn’t look great under foundation. I’m really tempted to purchase the full size version of this serum to give it a little more time to work it’s wonders on my t-zone!

barely birchbox

Prep  blot and blend (full size) sponge from Barely.

This sponge is to flawlessy apply your skincare and primers whilst prepping your skin for your foundation / base. I did actually really like using this to apply my primer, it felt nicer than just using my fingers. What do you think? Would you use a sponge to apply your skincare and primers?

birch box benefit

Jelly Pong Pong glow getter luminzer gel & Benefit Cosmetics Dream screen.

The Jelly Pong Pong highlighting gel is another full size product, as an oily skinned gal I love that it’s oil free! This helps me achieve a glowy, dewy looking without looking greasy. Always a bonus…

I’ll hold my hands up – I didn’t know Benefit did sunscreen, I’m heading into town today and I’m going to buy it full size. I love it! It’s SPF 45 with a matte finish yet it has this gorgeous velvet texture, I have been looking for a product to make me want to apply facial SPF every morning and I think i’ve found it!

pop palette birchbox

Pop beauty eyeshadow trio in peach parfait.

I was delighted when I saw this product, I’m a sucker for a pretty eyeshadow but it’s always great when it’s a shade you’d have picked for yourself anyways. This is all i’ve been using this week and I love how it looks against my blue eyes, such a gorgeous little neutral palette. There’s another picture below which shows the shades more clearly…

birchbox pop

What do you think? It’s perfect for everyday use.

unani birchbox

Unani aloe vera gel

This is perfect for when you’ve spent a little too long in the sun, as aloe vera is perfect for soothing sunburnt skin! Something to pop into the holiday bag that’s for sure.

What do you think of the contents of this months Birchbox well, Birchbag? I love that they all came in a neon pouch that you could just throw into your handbag or your beach bag and there’s so many great products for touching up your make up or keeping yourself feeling fresh on the go!

Would you be interested in singing up to Birchbox? I’m so impressed with the products, what do you think? Let me know in the comments 🙂

Most of the products in my hydra bag were the same as this, but I’ve not used any yet! I’m saving them for my holiday at the end of August so it’s good to know they’re good stuff!

I haven’t tried any beauty subscription boxes before and I was debating between Glossy box and Birchbox. I have to say after seeing what you got his month I really like the look of Birchbox.

I really want to own that Benefit sunscreen but yup, it was rather pricy for me since I can own another sunscreen that cheaper and have 50 SPF in it. Is it worthy? Nice post xo

I’ve been wanting to try a subscription box for so long and that little bag sounds adorable! I think I might sign up for one as soon as I have a big girl job locked in. I loved that “congested skin” serum. I really like the sound of that

I’d fallen a little out of love with beauty boxes but this months ‘Birchbag’ looks great!

Sounds like an ideal box for summer (not that we’ve had any notable summer weather here in Wales so far, boo). I had no idea Benefit did suncream, will definitely have to check that out as I love the way their products feel.
