Oh, YSL… be still my beating heart. There is just something about YSL products that ooze chic. I still remember when my mum first let me have her old touche Éclat concealer to try! It’s always been a favourite product of hers and now I pop one in her stocking every Christmas. These Rouge Volupté shine lipsticks* are just dreamy. If you are a reader of my blog you will know I often suffer from chapped lips, so matte lipstick are often drying on me which is a no-go, I prefer a creamy formula and these lipsticks contain 6 essential oils for long lasting, comfort and moisture. I am also a stickler for make up that smells bad, just me? I can’t stand putting foundation on my skin that has a strong scent of paint, these lipsticks are a refreshing change in the fact that they are watermelon scented – perfect for summer!
The lipsticks are priced at £26.00 each and are available to buy here, whilst the price is high end, you really do get what you pay for when it comes to these lipsticks. Everything about this product screams luxury and elegance, from the packaging, to the feel of the product. The high-gloss is long lasting and wears for about 3-4 hours and the colour remains on the lips even longer. So you can just glide and go, the colour is build-able too and I know I’d have no qualms pulling one of these little beauties out of my handbag to reapply, what do you think?

Would you be interested in trying one of these lipsticks, are shine, high gloss formulas your thing? These are perfect for summer, moisture with a sheen of gloss and colour. Lets not forget – shades!

Incase you wanted to bag one of these babies for yourself here’s a shade guide to the one for you.
48 – smoking plum
44 – nude lavalliére
47 – beige blouse
52 – trapéze pink
41 – corail a porter
45 – rouge tuxedo
Would you be interested in trying any of these shades? I prefer the pink, nude and red shades for summer but I know the plumps and purples will come in handy when autumn arrives. My favourite shade overall has to be between 41 – corail a porter and 52 – trapeze pink, how about you?

Such little gems, too pretty!
These lipsticks are absolutely beautiful and I love the idea that they are so moisturising, as like you, my lips get quite chapped. I’ve been wanting to treat myself to a YSL lipstick for years, and am very tempted by this particular range. I just love how pretty they look!
