What’s in my handbag? Autumn edition

I found this absolute gem of a handbag in my local Primark store one Saturday afternoon. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it was just seven pounds! Every now and again I downsize and de-clutter my handbag, it’s so easy to accumulate junk over time. This bag is the perfect size for the bare necessities! Here’s what’s in my handbag – autumn edition. I found this absolute gem of a handbag in my local Primark store one Saturday afternoon. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it was just seven pounds! Every now and again I downsize and de-clutter my handbag, it’s so easy to accumulate junk over time. This bag is the perfect size for the bare necessities! Here’s what’s in my handbag – autumn edition.  First up a classic staple red lipstick, I love how the YSL formula is long-lasting and creamy, meaning it doesn’t dry out my lips, it’s the last thing my chapped lips need in the winter!When I was in Chester, I treated my mum and I to the new Jo Malone geranium and walnut hand cream. My hands literally feel like velvet after applying this. It’s on the pricey side for a hand cream but in my opinion totally worth every penny. I always try and pop some on my hands before bed if I remember. My mum uses hers constantly, I have a feeling she will finish her tube before me!Now payday has arrived I have just ordered myself brand new bottle of Black Opium from YSL. Whenever I wear this perfume I get compliments and I always get asked what scent I am wearing. It’s such a strong scent, I instantly recognise it whenever anyone else is wearing it. I love how it lasts all day, and night! SO excited for my new bottle to arrive so I can spray away until my hearts content. Moving away from lighter, fruity scents this is definitely my autumn / winter go-to fragrance. Is it just me who cannot ‘start’ or open a new bottle of something until you’ve used the very last drop? It just feels wrong.Of course included in my handbag is my iPhone and my car / house keys. The little guy attached to my car keys gets a lot of attention, possibly the fluffiest keyring in the world, ever. He is so soft, I bought him from Topshop (100% worth the £10.00 price tag IMO!) My best friend got a matching black one, I won’t lose my keys in a hurry that’s for sure. I also have my trusty whistles  card holder (you can almost see it peeping out in the lipstick picture above!) as I am an absolute nightmare when it comes to carrying purses, I rarely carry cash or loose change really, so a bulky purse just seems to annoy me. I don’t like fumbling with it at the till / checkouts.

What do you think of my minimal ‘whats in my handbag?’ Not a chocolate bar wrapper or a Nando’s takeaway receipt in sight, well for now…
