September is here and it’s almost time for me to bring out my extensive bobble hat collection this year is flying past; here are some memories from Summer 2018! I can’t remember a summer that was as quite as warm as this one we were so lucky with the weather.

This summer was spent exploring, drinking too many mojitos and eating all of the food. Literally. On the occasional rainy day, we binge-watched BBC's The Bodyguard and Amazon Prime's Jack Ryan with John Krasinski from the U.S office. Both seriously good shows and I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a new series. If you're looking for something a little softer 'To all the boys I've loved before' is a super cute rom-com watch that you can find over on Netflix. You will fall in love with Peter Kavinsky, I promise.
If you follow me over on Instagram; you may have seen that I recently gained myself a rather lovely 6'3 tall boyfriend who makes my face physically hurt from laugh non-stop and even Oscar has given his approval.

We visited Knaresborough, where we sat and had scones with fresh clotted cream, jam and a side of people-watching. You can rent little rowing boats I couldn't cope with the cuteness of couples taking their dog's rowing with them 10/10 passengers.

We also visited Harrogate, Malham and Robin hoods bay. All three gorgeous quaint little towns in their own way. You can't go to the seaside and not have fish and chips usually followed by a lemon top! A lemon top is basically a 99 ice cream, with lemon sorbet on top. Have you ever tried one? I didn't realise they were local to North-East seaside towns.
As much as I love summer, I am excited for darker nights, crisp frosty mornings and being able to snuggle up in over-sized knitwear and burn scented candles galore. Not to get anyone too excited here but it is only 98 days until Christmas, just sayin'

Looks lovely, I’ve been meaning to go to Malham for approx 675 years haha. I didn’t know that about a lemon top…I’ll have to have one next time I go there. I’m glad we had a long summer too but honestly I’m so relieved it’s over now, I was struggling at the end haha.

It looks like you’ve had a lovely summer Becky and I’m so glad you’ve found yourself a lovely new man 🙂 These photos made me miss the North a lot. We always used to go up to Yorkshire to visit my grandparents, but after my Grandpa died my Grandma moved down South (which is lovely, as we get to see more of her) but it means we haven’t been back to Yorkshire for way too long. So many beautiful places up there and I love the countryside. Those cakes also look deliciously tasty!

Have you read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before? I read it before I had heard they’d be making a film adaptation; once I heard, I was really excited and I wasn’t disappointed! I enjoyed the novel more, but I always love a fun fluffy rom-com <3 // I've never heard of lemon tops before! // I am SO excited for autumn! I don't think I'm allowed to get into the holiday cheer yet because it's not even Halloween, but I'm definitely looking forward to it in my head! Here in the States I can't even get excited about Christmas right after Halloween; I have to wait until Thanksgiving! But that'll never stop me 😛 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
