Tomorrow is June the 1st, yay Summer is here (well sort of!) However judging by today’s weather… not so much. I have been loving the usually warmer weather and have found myself going back to the three same products lately when fishing around in my make up drawer. Hashtag creature of habit…
1. First up we have the ‘Nude Kate’ lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury. £23.00 each
I adore this shade, it’s a full bodied, peachy nude, not the kind of nude that looks like you smeared pale foundation all over your lips (we all remember that little trend, right?) I think it’s the perfect summer shade, being quite fair skinned and blonde, I really like that it doesn’t wash me out. I love the creamy formula with a slight sheen. I am using this every day, it’s easy to wear, and the packaging is perfect.

2. Instaglow CC creams from The Body Shop. £14.00 each.*
I have been loving these little tubes of glowy goodness! There’s three shades available (light, medium and dark) but I have only being using these two. I love how easy and practical they are to use – they have a thin nozzle no messing about with pumps and no wastage. I was a little worried as I applied this to the whole of my face I’d look like I had face planted a highlighter and would resemble a disco ball. Fear not, I loved that they brightened my skin and minimised my pores but I wasnt ‘glowing’ but then again for someone who has oily skin this is no bad thing, I was worried I’d look greasy and shiny but not at all, I love this base. I use the medium all over, on little to no make up days and I use light on top of my foundation over my t-zone! I find these CC creams perfect on days I want a fuss free, quick and easy summer base.

3. Honey Bronze ‘Drops of sun’ The Body Shop £12.00*
This has been a real game changer for me, I had a foundation which I loved, but it was a shade or two too light (we’ve all been there, it looks the right shade in the shop but when we get home it’s three shades off!) I have been mixing a drop or two of this with my foundation before applying to create the perfect shade, it matches my fake tan on my body and I love that it’s matte and not orange toned like face self tanners I have tried previously and this one just washes off with no biscuit scent – hurrah!
What do you think of my top three current go to products? Have you tried any of these? If there’s any other Charlotte Tilbury lipstick shades you think I would love then please let me know in the comments!

I looooove that CT lipstick too. I’m a sucker for a nude lip – at the moment it’s a little too 60s on my medium complexion, but come Autumn it’s a winner! I’m sure on fair beauties it is just perfect for summer!

Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are all beautiful but this one looks lovely for the upcoming months! I have Bond Girl hidden in my stash somewhere but it’s such an autumn shade that I need to purchase one suitable for the summer. I like the idea of the Body Shop’s CC cream too 🙂 xx
if you like a peach color for summer you might like as well the matte version of your CT which is sexy sienna: i adore it!!

All of these look lovely! I’ve been wanting to go to The Body Shop for a while now, as their new Pinita Colada Range has caught my eye. The CC creams look very promising, even though I’ve never personally tried any beauty products from The Body Shop. xx
I’d love to try the Drops of Sun 🙂 And I love that name.

I have colouring like you and really love the CT “Penelope” – still nude but with a hint of peachiness to it!
