The other day I received a beautiful package from the lovely Tanya Burr! Inside was Tanya’s new collection ‘Chasing the sun’ Keep reading to discover some of the lovely new products available!
First up are two creamy contour sticks! I have actually been wanting to try one of these for ages, so I was super excited to see these in the package! There’s two shades available light / medium and medium / dark! These little sticks are so easy to use at home and on the go. The formula is easy to blend, creamy and long lasting. My counter palette is getting a little dusty as these are much quicker and easier to use, I keep one in my handbag incase I want to touch-up during the day. What do you guys think? They are priced at £6.99 each*
Next we have three velvety soft illuminating powders, sadly one out of the three was broken on arrival but the other two are perfect, you can see the other shade ‘warm bronze’ along with swatches in Tanya’s blog post! I absolutely love these, they give me a soft gentle glow without look greasy or oily. Depending on what look I am going for I use ‘Champagne Sorbet’ (on the left) as a highlight and ‘Peonies Please’ as more of a super pigmented blusher!
These glide onto my face super easy, leaving a silky satin smooth finish. I still use ‘warm bronze’ it just didn’t seem right to photograph it all crumbled sadly! I think these products really cater to all women of all ages, my mum absolutely adores ‘Peonies Please’ she seriously rocks that highlight pop at 54. I think they look much more expensive than just £7.49 what do you reckon?
Also available in the new collection are three lip balm tins, two tinted shades and one clear. Of course they have ridiculously cute names like ‘strawberry milkshake’ and ‘sweet lime pie’ I love the design with the scalloped edges, super sweet and girly. These are priced at £4.99 each and would make a fantastic gift or stocking filler.
As usual the new collection stays true to Tanya’s style and personality, that really comes across in the design, the packaging and the fun names of the shades.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments! xo

Those blushers look so amazing! I have a question about the contour sticks though- are they different enough shades? In the photo, they look very similar!
