December the first is almost upon us! I am so excited for December to arrive, I am in full festive mode. A lot of people seem to be in the Christmas spirit this year, I have seen SO many trees up already! I will be putting mine up in the next couple of days. In the mean time I have been addicted to drinking hot chocolate, theres just something so nice about a huge mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, all cosy and warm whilst listening to the rain and wind outside! This is definitely my new favourite mug (from Home Bargains!) I have posted about it before but for £1.29 it is just a total steal!
Tom and I went for breakfast one morning before a day of Christmas films. I love breakfast food, I wish more places local to me did great breakfast food. I ordered american style pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup and berry sauce, drool. Tom ordered a sausage sandwich it came on a huge wooden board both of the meals were beautifully presented. I am such a sucker when it comes to pancakes and bacon!
We were also invited to the Psyche winter fashion show event earlier this month, it was a lovely night. I loved looking around at all the different brands, and beautiful shoes, bags and other goodies. There were some lovely canapés and champagne along with lots of trees and fairy lights, so the atmosphere was very festive. Look at how beautiful these shoes are!
How gorgeous are these? I think they would be perfect for adding a bit of sparkle to black skinny jeans! They almost have an ombre style effect. Sadly shoes like this are no good for my stupidly small sized feet, they always just slip off! I usually tend to head to the kids section sometimes!
*Like I said, December first is nearly here, which means – advent calendars. Non chocolate advent calendars are becoming more and more popular each year, especially for adults it seems. From Beauty, to alcohol, candles and nail polish. There’s so many choices. I always love the beautifully presented Yankee candle advent calendars. There is three designs to choose from, a house in the snow, a carousel and a snow globe shaped calendar. All equally gorgeous and festive in their own way.

You open a window each day to reveal a christmas-y scented tea light. There’s some gorgeous scents included such as candy cane lane, snowflake cookie, bundle up, spices orange, winter glow and icicles. There’s a larger door on Christmas Eve which contains a Christmas eve votive candle, to burn so cute!
I also bought my mum one of these because she adores lighting tea-lights all over the house, there’s candles, lanterns and candle holders all over the place, so I know she will love opening hers everyday! What do you think of this advent calendar? Will you buying one or do you stick to chocolate?
That’s what I have been up too recently, have you been drinking many hot chocolate’s? Is your tree up or are you already sick of christmas songs in every single shop? Let me know in the comments.

I always love your blog photography Becky! The Yankee Candle advent calendars looks so good – Snowflake Cookie is my favourite at the minute!

Hi,
Just wondering where you go for shoes? I have the same problem as you (ridiculously small feet)! Mine are a 1/2. Barrett’s used to do a range for tiny feet but have stopped. I’ve had a nightmare ever since!!
Thanks,
Nicole xx
