This months august birchbox is all about being a beauty junkie. The packaging and box is just so cute, full of gorgeous beauty junkie emoji style illustrations, from compacts, to palettes and brushes, you know the score. Here’s what was in my august birchbox this month.
See, I told you the packaging was ridiculously cute.
You even get stickers, the 5 year old inside me absolutely loved this, I don’t know why but cute stickers in my opinion, are always a bonus.
The Balm – Desert bronze
I’m always hearing fabulous thing about the balm cosmetics, so I was pleased to see a mini bronzer from them in this months Birchbox. It is the perfect size to carry around in my handbag, or my little wash bag. I was a tad skeptical about the ‘fade resistant formula’ but I was pleasantly surprised, this stuff lasts!
Illamasqua – Hydra veil
I will 100% be purchasing the full sized version of this, I love how my make up looked on top of this. My complexion looked really smooth and my skin looked glowing, note not oily, rejoice fellow oily skinned girls!
Huygens – Exfoliating cream / scrub
I am a serial exfoliator, there I said it. This stuff smells amazing, so zesty my skin feels so fresh after using it, I love that it is gentle enough for daily use.
Lord & Berry – Blush in ‘Lotus’
I love trying out mini blusher, before buying the full product, as this is something I struggle with the most! Lotus is a gorgeous shade, flattering on every skin tone, it has a velvet texture and looks lovely on my cheeks, it doesn’t settle into my pores, which is always a bonus for me. (Boo, unsightly pores!)
Rituals – Ayurveda scrub
This is one of my favourite products in this months august Birchbox! A beautifully scented body scrub, which contains multani clay and indian rose, it’s fast becoming my new shower scrub go to!
What do you think of these products did you receive an august birchbox?

This birch box looks so adorable and the products look amazing. I love The Balm eyeshadows, they are such great quality and I have wanted to try Hydra Veil for ages.

Super cute box! I do find Birchbox are always a bit skimpy with their products but their designs are always on point.
