Introducing the miniature handbag, that I recently bought from New Look. I was so sick of carrying around a gigantic handbag on a daily basis, it just gave me more of an excuse to fill it with total rubbish.
So, when I spotted this pastel pink miniature handbag with gold hardware, I knew it was the perfect size for me. I have been really determined to not clutter it with rubbish and really keep things to a minimum. Instead of just shoving receipts, spare change, and other junk like 3 MAC lipsticks, and probably some form of chocolate, here’s what you can find in my new, de-cluttered bag. 
I bought this Michael Kors purse / card holder for just £16.99 the last week from TK MAXX, it should have been around £50.00 so there was no way, I was leaving it on the shelf! I never seem to use much cash, so it’s perfect for me. I can fill it with my ridiculous amount of VERY important cards you know, like my unlimited Cineworld and Boots points cards…
What do you think? It was available to buy in a bright orange colour, but obviously me being me I just had to go for the white! The picture doesn’t really show how chunky it is, it’s not thin, it feels like a small purse, than a card holder, there’s a large pouch for notes too. I was very happy with this find.
Of course my beloved iPhone 6 was always going to be included in this list, whilst I am using it a lot less when I am out and about but I still like to take my phone with me 99% of the time for emergencies and just so I can be contactable. 
I wanted to also show you guys this pretty flowers and pearls phone charm I picked up from Home Bargains not too long ago, for the grand total of £1.00 isn’t it lovely?
Seen as it is summer, well if you can call it that in the UK. I like to keep my sunglasses in my bag too, you know… Just incase the sun ever decides to show its face.
And there you have it, the contents of my miniature handbag, the only other item that’s in there are my keys and possibly a lip balm from time to time. I really want to keep it to a minimum it’s so embarrassing having to dig through everything at a checkout, or I always panic thinking I’ve lost or misplaced my phone (I never have) It’s just buried under junk that I do not need to be carrying around with me. Would you switch to a miniature handbag? Or maybe you’ll just de-clutter yours for now. Unless you are a neat and tidy person whose bag doesn’t contain Krispy Kreme Donut receipts galore and the odd dog treat (Thanks Oscar!) Let me know what you think in the comments 🙂

Ooh what a gorgeous bag! I definitely need to downsize mine – it’s so full of receipts and general junk that it takes forever to fish to the bottom. I also carry books round in there and a diary – I never use it out and about I think I just like to feel organised! My bag gets so heavy it gives me back ache though, so I definitely need to downsize. Very jealous of your MK find, I never seem to find gems like that in TK Maxx! Xxx

I love minature handbags. I’ve always carried small bags, mainly for my convenience and it’s so much lighter and easier to carry when I’m on my feet shopping for five hours!

This bag is gorgeous! I have a big Jimmy Choo tote that I use every day. But where it’s so big, I put so much in it and completely weighs me down and becomes so heavy which really isn’t good for me! I also decided to get a smaller purse this summer, and I love it! It’s great for summer since I tend to walk around more (I hate carrying heavy when walking a lot) and GREAT for shopping! More arm room for shopping bags!
