I recently decided to pop into Primark on my way home, I didn’t need any new clothes, however I wanted to buy some new accessories to spruce up what’s already in my Spring wardrobe. I had no idea my local Primark store was open until 6pm (it was completely dead FYI, totally the best time to go!)… it’s one of my favourite places to shop when it comes to super affordable jewellery, shoes and accessories, with New Look being a close second, but that was closed. Here’s what I bought…

Embellished t-bar Sandals – £8.00
These were the first item I picked up, so much prettiness, I mean look at them, they are so sparkly. They had these available in white, silver and the blush, nude colour I bought. I am not a winter shoe person whatsoever. I can’t stand boots, I am the silly girl you will see with soaked through feet in November because she won’t give up the ballet flats or open pumps. So thank god summer shoes are now acceptable to wear now it’s pretty much April, right? I can’t lie to you guys… I bought the silver pair too!

Pack of ten wooden bangles – £4.00
I love bracelets and rings, when adding to and complimenting an outfit, I think they can really jazz up a plain boring cardigan or a white summery top. For just £4.00 I couldn’t leave these beauties behind.

Bangle – £3.00
I decided to switch it up a little and try some silver jewellery, normally I always go for gold, but I think this would really compliment a crisp white blouse, with a tan in the summer! What do you think? There was a whole stack of rings, earrings and bracelets in this style, I wish I’d have picked up more now, isn’t that always the case?! Aerated the moral of the story is – Don’t listen to your internal bank account voice saying ‘that’ll do now’ Just kidding, sort of.

Stick on nails – £1.00
I am such a huge fan of Primark’s stick on nails, my own nails used to be quite long but then I trapped my hand in the fridge door (yes, really!) and they all snapped off – painful and gross. Since then I’ve wanted something that looks a little more polished. I normally buy their french manicure square nails but I spied these ‘almond’ shaped nails and had to buy them, so you know I bought a pack… or four, oops.

Phone holder and wallet – £4.00
Finally, a wallet that holds my iPhone 6 that doesn’t break the bank I mean £4.00 you just cannot fall off. My phone fits perfectly inside, along with card slots and a coin purse – perfect. There was a black and white snakeskin option too but I thought the cream one was a little more my style. I really love that it has a wrist strap too, at least this way my phone won’t get scratched, it offers more protection than having it in my bag – at danger of loose change, my keys and god knows what.
I am really happy with my buys, what do you think of my new accessories?

Love those sandals. They look so chic like oh-my-gosh!
Love the phone holder and wallet! Haha it’s always good to know when stores are empty. I actually just got back from Starbucks, and I was there 9:30-11:00PM (closing time), thinking that there wouldn’t be too many people there and that I’d be able to have a motivational coffee and lots of space to myself as I finished up an assignment due tomorrow, but it was actually pretty full! Who knew that that many people have coffee in the evening? Probably all college students.. -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

Ah, I miss Primark SO much. There is nothing like it in Canada. High street stores don’t exist over here 🙁

Some great picks! I’m always buying my accessories from Primark, they don’t break the bank and are perfect to style what would be a outdated look.
