This little cutie of mine is now eleven and a half weeks old, he looks pretty big in photographs but in reality, he’s the size of my brothers shoe. Everyone always says how much smaller he is when they come over for visit (more like an excuse for a cuddle) and see him in ‘real life’ Look at those big puppy dog eyes of his. (Be warned they’re also his ultimate secret weapon when it comes to being naughty and trying to get away with it)
Despite buying him lots of expensive puppy friendly toys, his favourite thing to chew on is a pair of old slippers and the tie on my dressing gown. He eats like a horse and has been getting on with my two other dogs really well.
He is such a loving dog, I adore his big brown eyes and the way his little nose kind of looks slightly heart shaped. He’s so wrinkly too and has the chunkiest paws. I can’t believe how independent he is, he isn’t scared of anything but he still climbs on to my knee and curls up into a little ball when he’s feeling tired and wants a cuddle.
Confession time..I’ve turned into one of those crazy dog mums, forever instagram-ing pictures of him and I find myself colour co-ordinating his toys and getting excited about picking out his collar and probably matching lead.
On Saturday I’m taking him for his last injection, so then he will be able to go for walks, I can’t wait! I hope this post didn’t bore you too much, I know some of you on twitter did ask for an update, to those who aren’t big dog lovers, I apologise. I just couldn’t resist sharing pictures of this photogenic little sausage.

Oh god those big eyes! I'd melt and never be able to say no, I so want a puppy at sometime in my life. I thought I'm more of a cat person but dogs just seem so much more loving and attention seeking (something I just bend to!). Though I suppose I've fallen in love with him because my own puppy is this exact color (brown on his mouth and everything!). I totally feel you on coordinating toys! It's so addicting!
