I mentioned these pillow cases briefly in my last post, but I had to add them to my favourites, they are so comfy, I literally sink into them, ahh dreamy. Besides everyone has ‘a favourite side’ on the bed right? I seriously have to be on my side… otherwise I can’t sleep it just feels weird. Please tell me I am not alone on this haha anyone else shifted their boyfriend or partner over for being on the wrong side? If you’d like to add some order to the bedroom these big and little spoon pillowcases are from The Old English Company.
Every now and again I totally get the make-up hype, when you open something and literally gasp at its beauty, for me this eyeshadow palette nude’tude from the brand ‘The Balm’ but you can find it in this months Cohorted beauty box totally took me there! I think the design is gorgeous, let alone the palette itself contains ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL EYESHADOWS. I mean look at it there’s a shade duo for everyone from nudes, to neutrals and smokey eyes shades. I seriously felt so bad using it, I didn’t want to ‘ruin it’ but I know it can’t just sit on my dressing table looking pretty, I might as well put those dreamy eyeshadow shades to good use right?!
My dad actually bought me this perfume for Christmas as part of a set (the body cream is also heavenly FYI!) but I wanted to save it for Spring as it is the perfect fresh Spring fragrance. ‘Dolce’ by Dolce and Gabanna is the first fragrance to ever use the South African flower white first things first amaryllis in a perfume before it also contains notes of white water lilies and white daffodil, the scent is as dainty as the packaging. Talking about packaging I love the rose topper lid and sweet little bow, I always love a pretty perfume bottle to add to my collection. Whilst I love this scent I tend to save it for ‘special’ days as I don’t want it to run out too quick because I love it so much and it’s priced pretty steep at £49.00 for 30ml!
This Lime and Bay scented reed diffuser from The White Company smells (£25.99) amazing, the only complaint I have was breaking a nail trying to get the stopper cork out, seriously hard work! As it’s by my bedside table, the fragrance is too strong whist I’m asleep so I pop the stopper back in, does anyone else find that even with scented candles when they are not lit, you can smell them really strongly first thing on a morning if they are by the bed? I wish I could move into one of The White Company show rooms or stores, I just want to buy all of the things every single time I’m in there!
You know when you go into a shop, see something you want to buy, then convince yourself you don’t need it and foolishly leave without buying it. I did that recently… it was with a copper alarm clock in Home Bargains, there was one left on the shelf, I think it was around £4.99 and I remember thinking I don’t need it. When I got home it was all I could think about and I seriously regretted not buying it. Anyways the next time I went, I headed straight to the aisle and low and behold there were none, gutted. So I bought this copper tea-light holder (£1.99) to make myself feel better. Moral of the story if you see something you want – buy it haha just kidding, or AM I?

I love White Company diffusers, and the candles too! I haven’t yet tried anything from The Balm, although I’ve had my eye on the Mary Lou Manizer for a while now.
I really want to buy that Dolce perfume but I feel like I need to use up some that I have already!

I love Dolce! I ordered it from Sephora last winter and I’ve worn it almost every day. I love that the scent isn’t too strong. It has such a mature smell that it makes me feel grown up and professional at work. The bottle is adorable. I love displaying it on the vanity in my bathroom.
The pillow cases are so cute and YES I try to persuade myself that I don’t need something when I am shopping but I swear the moment I leave the shop all I can think about is the item I want haha! Going back into the store just to see the item you want gone sucks – so nowadays I just control my impulse buying habits by not going shopping at all (at least I try haha!) xx

I’m not a huge fan of TheBalm packaging, but the colors in that palette sure look beautiful.
I LOVE the lime and bay scent from The White Company, I only have a small candle but need diffusers too, so everywhere can smell of it 🙂

I’ve been loving those pillowcases for months now, I wasn’t sure if they’d be itchy and cheap, so I’m glad you said they were comfy, I’m definitely more tempted to buy them now 😀 (and yeah, my side is the left side!)
