I know, Easter isn’t for a little while yet but I’ve been seeing lots of cute Easter themed bits and bobs in the shops recently and I wanted to make Easter gift boxes for my little cousins. Something different, to an Easter egg and it cost me under £5.00 most of the items here are from the pound shop or similar stores.
First off I bought some pastel coloured, pop up cardboard gift boxes, I think they’re nicer than gift bags sometimes. Then I bought these little metal egg shaped tins they were 2 for a pound, you can fill them with whatever you like, it’s up to you. There’s a bunny on the front and a little chick on the back.
I filled each tin with a bag of mini chocolate eggs.
I popped in one of these little chicks in the tin with the chocolate eggs you know, for good measure, I can’t tell if they’re creepy or cute. These came in a pack of 20 for 99p.
I didn’t want to overload on chocolates or sweets. I found a pack of 12 3D Easter themed stickers from a similar shop. I just cut around the plastic and placed them into the pop up gift box.
how sweet are these biscuit lollipops, I can’t even lie, I bought one of these for myself too…
I then added a chick biscuit lollipop to the gift box, covered it all with pink or blue tissue paper, tied up the box and added a little ‘happy easter’ gift tag and they’re good to go! What do you think?
This is such a sweet idea, I'm sure your cousins will love it, I kinda want one for myself…
