Birthday snapshots… turning twenty-five

On Friday I turned 25! Tom had came over the night before, on the morning of my birthday I was told to ‘hide’ in the kitchen. I came into my room and saw flowers, cupcakes that he had baked, beautifully wrapped presents. It was all so, so lovely and thoughtful there was so much thought put into everything and we had the loveliest morning before we headed to Newcastle and then to Tom’s parents house.

*cheers* Oscar clearly wanted in on the Prosecco and double chocolate cupcakes, spot the super fluffy dressing gown. Yes, that’s me in neon, not white, not cream, not pastels… neon! My leather look skirt is from River Island, and my Bralet is from Missguided. Dad, in case you’re reading of course I didn’t go out like that, I made sure to put my big fur hooded parka on over the top. Is that a sign of old age? Oh god…

We had a lovely meal in Newcastle (we are back there next week for Jimmy Carr live, eep!) When I arrived at Tom’s parents house his mum and dad had put birthday banners up, and I received more lovely presents off his family, including another cake with a singing sparkler candle. I received some amazing gifts but the little things always mean the most, I was emotional at the effort that had been made for my birthday, it was nice to have such a special day with those closest to me. I also had a lovely meal with my family on Saturday, so feeling very lucky and loved at the moment. p.s Top boyfriend marks and a gold star for baking me a sausage dog cake I mean look at it… I think he can stay!
