Autumn Aesthetics

I have taken so many photos this Autumn; I wanted to put them all in a blog post. I love a cold, crisp Autumn day curling up with a mug of hot chocolate topped with a mountain of whipped cream and marshmallows.
I had to share these photos of these fox cubs with you guys! One Sunday we were driving home when out of the corner of my eye I spotted a small fox. We pulled over, and it just stared at me, I half expected it to run off into the bushes. I remembered there were some biscuits in the glove box, so I threw one over and to my amazement, a second fox cub came out of the bushes! I sat on a little rock nearby and watched them play for about 20 minutes, I was in my element.Aren’t they beautiful creatures? It made my whole day! I felt like Snow White.
I always love baking and cooking more in the colder months, recently we have indulged in a few sweet treats, after long walks! We’ve been enjoying batches of homemade soup with crusty bread and lots of butter, Beef stews with dumplings and honey-roasted parsnips in my trusty Le Creuset casserole dish! Here’s the recipe for sweet potato soup! I finally got to try Temple Coffee doughnuts, if you are ever in Leeds you must go, everything is vegan and well worth the wait. The doughnuts are massive, and they taste unbelievable. My friend and I couldn’t believe how good they were, they certainly lived up to the hype! The only downside was it was a little difficult to find, and be prepared to queue if you want a seat indoorsHow cute are these ghost-shaped marshmallows? I bought them from B&M stores, they were only £1.00!

It wouldn’t be Autumn aesthetics without scented candles and fairy lights now would it? This Cinnamon Roll candle was £1.99 from Home Bargains but it looks very similar to the Bath & Bodyworks ones don’t you think? My boyfriend even commented on how strong the scent was whilst burning this one, the whole room smelt like a bakery!

I picked up these battery operated fairy lights from Primark, I think they were £2.50 they come in white and cool bulbs I went for warm white, as they feel cosy and cool bulbs can feel cold and look a bit clinical!
