The other day, Tom and I headed to Whitby for the day. I think Whitby is so picturesque, so I took my dslr along. We had such a lovely day, sitting by the sea, eating chips, playing on the 2p machines, there were dogs absolutely everywhere, so I was in my element. We even spotted a little sausage like Oscar.
We stopped for a drink, after spending too long in the arcades, we sat outside watching the fishing boats and people go by, it was the perfect spot for people watching. This guy seemed very interested in Toms pint, isn’t he gorgeous? Not quite old enough to drink though! p.s Total Dire wolf much?
The pretty view whilst climbing the 199 steps (spot the black building – The Dracula experience, no thank you) Climbing back up them was not as easy as going down…
Mmmm, you can’t beat ‘proper chips’ we were surrounded by some pretty big and scary seagulls though…

I love Whitby. My dad lived there for 20 years so we spent many a holiday there. He had to move near me last year so I've not been for a year. How is the new park and ride system working? The 199 steps are exhausting. One year I decided in order to keep fit, I'd climb them every day. Think I managed 2 days! Lol xx

Gorgeous photos. We went to Whitby about two years ago and stayed in the fisherman's cottage in the harbor, we had a gangplank to get in and when it was hightide the water surrounded the place. It was winter when we went though, it looks much prettier in summer.
I love Whitby and lucky enough to attend university where I only have to take a bus to go! 🙂 xx
