I wanted to share my cosy winter staples checklist with you, I have found a few bargains recently and figured I’d share them on my blog as winter is fast approaching, it has been raining pretty solidly now for almost five days, I can’t stand the rain it’s always so grey and gloomy… Send snow instead please.
Candles and fairy lights – the more the better, obviously.
Scented candles get even better around christmas time, with all the incredible foodie scents mmm. I have been loving this limited edition candle from The White Company, twenty one, which was recently released to celebrate twenty one years of the white company! I smelt it in the store and it smelt incredible! The scent is gorgeous, fruity and rich with grapefruit, neroli, jasmine and magnolia. I almost don’t want to burn it! I love the cosy glow and soft light candles give off in a room, perfect for snuggling up with a hot chocolate and an array of christmas DVD’s (The Snowman is still my favourite!)
Knitted slipper socks.
My feet are freezing all year round (somehow!) But as my kitchen is tiles, in the winter it really does get cold, especially on a morning. I use this as an excuse to buy all the themed slipper socks, cute, over the top slipper booties and the likes to keep my tootises nice and toasty. These were also from Home Bargains haha, I am so grateful my mum introduced me to this shop. These were £2.99 they are so thick and they have a non-slip sole too, which is good because chasing after a certain sausage I’d probably end up falling and braking something. Said certain sausage loves to run off with pants and bra’s…little pest.
Pom pom hats and seasonal mugs.
I am a sucker for seasonal stuff, I saw this mug in Home Bargains and it was a grand total of £1.29, amazing. They had other designs too which I know I’ll end up buying at some point over the festive period. I love having a new mug each year, because I drink so many hot chocolates in the winter! This cream and faux fur pom pom hat is also from Home Bargains, I’ve spied similar ones in Topshop and River Island, but they’re always usually quite expensive whereas this one was just £1.99! I don’t think it looks that cheap at all, it also comes available in grey and black, such a steal!

I am so obsessed with your blog style and your pictures! It just is so seamless and well thought of. On another note…I am obsessed with those socks as my feet are seriously freezing year round as well…even with regular socks and boots on! The beenie is absolutely adorable! I must smell that candle and find the mug in the US.

This does all look so warm and cosy! I feel like we haven’t got to proper all out winter yet though, it’s still that funny in between phase where it’s cold out but I keep forgetting to wear a coat as it doesn’t look ‘that bad’ – always a mistake however!!

Those slipper socks look so cozy and adorable! As another year-long cold-footed person, I could definitely do with stocking up on cosy socks this winter. I’d never actually heard of Home Bargains before but I think if I’m ever near one in the future, you might have convinced me to check them out.

These fluffy sock are everything! I always wear them during winter time despite the fact that I’m not a fan of socks haha. I just really want this amazing, Christmas time where I can wear hem on the everyday basis!
