If you don’t know, I adore The Snowman, ever since I was a little girl it has been a tradition for me to watch it on Christmas eve, yes even now at 25. My lovely boyfriend tom bought me a light up canvas of The snowman and The Snowdog last year, his mum knitted me an amazing snowman as a Christmas gift. I just love it, I think the whole thing is magical from the drawings, to the music. I was over the moon when they released the snowdog version, what a cutie, with little socks for ears. Anyways enough rambling…
Have you heard of Biscuiteers? They are a London-based biscuit company who also deliver cupcakes, cakes and chocolates in the post. The amount of choice is incredible, they also offer a gluten-free range which is nice to see! You can order biscuit ‘cards’ for any occasion, or biscuits which come in beautiful tins, there’s something for every budget. I think they make such a special and unique gift!
When the biscuits arrived they certainly didn’t disappoint. I knew they looked good online, but in person they looked even better! My postman handed me a package labelled ‘fragile’ and when I opened the box, I was greeted by a beautifully decorated tin, packaging is always important to me especially when it comes to gifts or presents as I feel it can really make a gift feel extra special.
As I opened the box and peeled back the tissue paper, I was greeted by the most stunning biscuits, they’re gently stuck in place with a little icing sugar. The biscuits are placed into layers, so it feels like you are unfolding a story. Aren’t they just gorgeous?
I loved looking at each layer, there were so many beautiful biscuits from the film, like this scene where the Snowman is flying James over the trees in the aeroplane. I loved not knowing what I was going to see on each layer, there were christmas trees, penguins, presents, and snowflakes all beautifully iced and packed with such care.
There was Father Christmas, lots of little Snowdog’s, and it was just really lovely. So I can only imagine how nice this would be if these were a surprise over the festive period. They are so unique and make a nice change from hampers or flowers. Why not send an edible card…much better than just your normal Christmas card am I right? The best part is they tasted incredible too, they weren’t too hard or too soft!

Something I really liked was the long best before date, my box of biscuits will last until the 6th of June 2016! Amazing, as everyone always gets so many goodies at this time of year that you don’t have to worry about them going off, which is a bonus as they are almost too pretty to eat!
What do you think of these beautiful biscuits? Would you send someone you love something like this for a special occasion? Let me know in the comments! Thank you Biscuiteers for the lovely biscuits.
