As promised here are some snaps from my iPhone during our visit to The Cotswolds, I already want to go back. Whilst photography is my passion, it’s nice to just take a quick photo on my phone and live more in the moment. I still can’t believe my lovely boyfriend planned this all on his own. We had the best time wandering around from pub to pub, eating way too much cake and taking in the beautiful scenery that The Cotswolds had to offer.
I cannot recommend visiting ‘The Bakery on the water’ enough as it was the best Victoria sponge cake we have ever eaten. If you get chance pop into ‘The Porch house’ in Stow-on-the-wold which is the thought to be the oldest inn in England dating back to 947AD! We also visited Huffkins cafe one afternoon for lunch and had the most unbelievable (or should I say un-brie-lievable, sorry couldn’t resist) brie cranberry and bacon sandwich, no wonder it was so busy from the outside.

I already can’t wait to go back, looking through these photos has made me miss it so much! There’s plenty to see and do, it was lovely to switch off for a week with my favourite person, look at that incredible pastel sunset sky we were treated to one evening. If you are wondering which Air b&b we stayed at please message me on one of my social media channels and I will DM you the link!
If you can – try and go during the week it will definitely be quieter than visiting on a weekend or during school holidays that’s for sure. I’m sure it’s lovely all year round and whatever the weather although we got lucky in the UK to have no rain! Have you ever visited The Cotswolds? Let me know in the comments, somehow I have a feeling we might be back again by the time this year is out!

I’ve never visited the Cotswolds but I have always wanted to! Your photos are lovely.
