When TK Maxx asked me to join in on their Ridiculous Possibilities campaign and challenged me take part in ‘Duvet Dining’ I jumped at the chance, how fun and exciting to build a duvet fort?! As if I ever needed an excuse even Oscar got involved in the antics! I have always loved TK Maxx for its broad range of goodies (they have 10,000 new products delivered weekly!) – as you never know what you’re going to find or leave the store with, and that’s the essence of its Ridiculous Possibilities campaign. From fashion and swoon-worthy stationery, to quirky pieces of furniture and homewares, the possibilities are endless. I always love finding a good bargain so if I can buy my designer labels for up to 60% less RRP, even better.
I was sent a gorgeous hamper of goodies, to help me create and set up my duvet fort, including a beautiful bunch of silk peonies, shabby chic bed sheets, and two beautiful china tea sets and dined on scones and strawberries… mmm.
After draping the bed sheets, and plumping the pillows my fort was almost complete, throw in a scatter cushion or two, a bottle of pink fizz, cupcakes and a very intrigued sausage dog and we were good to go!

Look at these beautiful dainty tea-cups (yep from TK Maxx!), so elegant, I had so much fun during my duvet dining experience, yes even at 26 years old I loved it! It was nice to do something a bit ridiculous and out there, it was certainly different!
Look at this little cutie, after he eventually realised he wasn’t having any of the food, he curled up into a little ball and fell asleep on the pillow, it sure was cosy in there.
I had so much fun taking part in this creative challenge, what do you think? I seriously didn’t want to take the fort down!

This is such a cute idea 🙂
I can’t believe those tea cups are from TK MAXX, I always forget to look in there for anything like that (I normally nosey round the makeup and clothes!). I’ll need to raid my local ones homeware department soon 😀

Brilliant! The whole ‘fort’ idea is something that you might expect a child to think up, however being an adult makes no difference – It looks extremely inviting after all.

This is such a cute idea – I’m absolutely loving the fort! Did all the tent sticks come in your hamper or did you put it together yourself? I used to love making duvet forts in my lounge when I was little – I definitely think it’s something us adults need to start doing again! Oscar looks like he enjoyed it too 🙂
