Topshop treats, sparkly scatter cushions and james bay.

I bought a new pink throw for my bed, as my cream one was getting a little shabby. I stood in the aisle for a good 10 minutes because I couldn’t decide if these sequin cushions were totally tacky or kind of fabulous, I figured a little sparkle never hurt anyone and threw two in the basket. They’re from The Range if you’re wondering! What do you think? I’m such a sucker for scatter cushions…

When I was in the queue in Topshop waiting to return something, I ended up picking up a load of cute stuff that i obviously do not need at all whilst I waited…I know, I need to stop buying novelty socks but…You need these Topshop dinosaur socks in your life, trust me. I mean look at them, look at themm. If your not a fan of pink, they also come in grey. Novelty socks make me happy okay.

I am completely obsessed with James Bay (the guy who sings ‘hold back the river’) Let it go, is an amazing song, I can’t stop singing it, I can’t stop listening to it, it’s been on repeat for about 5 hours now. Go and listen to him on YouTube, Spotify, whichever you prefer, your ears will thank you for it.

I also bought two more Topshop nail polishes, whilst I was in the queue. I ended up spending more than the item i was returning, typical. I picked the shades parma violet and prim and proper. I’ve gone from having no Topshop nail polishes, to three in about the space of a week. At least these shades will last me all spring / summer.

    Looks gorgeous! Is the pink throw from The Range also, as im struggling to find my daughter a baby pink one. Primark did them last year and im kicking myself i didnt get it as her white one has seen better days also lol! Thanks in advance, Kate xx

    I don't think there'll ever come a day when my heart doesn't flutter with happiness at your decor – the colour scheme is so simple and sweet, it feels as if there should be fairies floating about waving glitter everywhere (although that would be a nightmare to clean off of all your whites!).

    Those socks are so cute! Thanks for sharing about James Bay. I've never heard of him before, so I looked him up when I read this post and OMG he is a cutie! He kinda looks like if young Johnny Depp and Russel Brand had a baby (or maybe that's just me lol!).

    Those cushions are not tacky in the slightest! They are very Clueless to me, especially paired with your pink things.

    I wish I could fit into Topshop socks, but I have such big feet that after one wash they're too small for me and I feel like my feet are being bound – not comfy at all. I've started buying Topman ones though, and they're nearly as cool.
