I wanted to make something cute, festive and edible this morning, so I thought I’d try this super easy and simple (no baking involved) melting snowman biscuit recipe. I promise I’m not five years old.. But I actually really enjoyed making these and they would be a great holiday activity for kids to make without creating too much mess or taking a long time to make! They’re pretty tasty too!
What you will need
Biscuits of your choice, marshmallows, icing pens, icing sugar

Take as many biscuits as you need to create the bases for the melting snowmen. I found it easier to decorate the faces onto the marshmallows first before making the icing, so I wasn’t rushing to decorate them before the icing began to set. So decorate faces with icing pens, be as creative as you like!
l
Then take 225 grams of icing sugar and slowly mix in two tbsp of water.. I added a few drops more over time during mixing to make sure it wasn’t too runny so that it would slide off the biscuit..or take a long time to set.. I then used the back of a spoon to spread the icing onto the biscuit. Take the decorated snowman’s head and place onto the iced biscuit.
Leave the icing to set for around 15-20 minutes depending on how gloopy (technical term of course) you made the icing. Then use the icing pens to decorate arms, buttons, scarves and bows! You could even use chocolate chips or smarties for buttons if you like! Then they’re ready to eat and enjoy 🙂

How cute! These remind me of the Lush snowman bubble bar 🙂

These look fabulous! I tired to share them on a facebook group and an error message blocked me, saying the link (to your blog) is 'spammy or unsafe' – and I tried to send it via chat and it did it again!
Unfair. I will find a way to share this with my friends anyway!
