The best thing about memories is making them

I seriously cannot get my head around the fact that we are almost half way through October already! It will soon be Christmas. I wanted to share some of my recent memories with you guys. I have gone to the ‘bronde’ side, it feels ridiculously dark to me, when I am so used to being white blonde. I felt so happy leaving the hairdressers which makes a nice change for once.  My hair feels and looks so much shinier and healthier, I love it. I bought a sulphate free shampoo from Superdrug which seems to be making my colour last a lot longer, hallelujah! memories

I couldn’t leave those fluffy bunny slippers on the shelves in Tesco, I only went in for milk, they are so soft, perfect for the cold mornings, walking around on the cold kitchen tiles, now autumn has arrived. I enjoyed a hot chocolate in my ‘better latte’ than never mug. It finally feels cold enough to enjoy hot chocolate’s again. I always look forward to the festive drinks menu’s at Starbucks and Costa! Look at all of those beautiful shades in the new Bourgeois rouge velvet lipsticks, a colour to suit every mood.memories 2

I finally got my paws on some of the Jo Malone dupes from Aldi, I bought a few candles and a reed diffuser, they smell incredible. Candles and fairy lights are my favourite in the colder months, they really make a room feel all cosy and snug. I shared this picture of my cake choices from Peggy Porschen during my trip to London. Seriously beautiful cakes that taste just as good, only eating them after you’ve instagram-ed them from every possible angle of course.

The death by chocolate cake that weighed an absolute ton, I made it for my best friends birthday, caramel nibbles, happy hippos, kinder bueno choice boys and a nutella and go pot, on top you know, just for good measure. When your BFF ask’s for chocolate cake, she gets a chocolate cake! The photo next to it is from a man v.s food restaurant with the girls. I ordered sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks and a ridiculously over-sized chicken burger, it’s safe to say I was defeated and certainly had no room for dessert.

It’s sometimes nice every now and again to have a rambling word vomit kind of post. I love instagram, don’t get me wrong! I just don’t like posting long captions on there. October isn’t over just yet, hopefully there will be a lot more lovely memories to come.  I hope your October is a good one! xo

Lovely memory post! Such an enjoyable read, not an overload of information instead it’s genuine and relaxed. I’m obsessed with candles too, but I haven’t tried any from Aldi yet! I might just have to go and have a sniff cause some candles are super pricey!

your new hair colour looks beautiful and it will probably be much easier to maintain as well! and those bunny slippers are way way too cute I wouldn’t have been able to leave them either. The cake you baked looks amazing but then again you always make such awesome cakes.

It looks like you’ve been having a nice October so far. I love your new hair colour – really suits you hun 🙂 Those lipsticks look gorgeous – so many colours to choose from! The Aldi Jo Malone dupes sound awesome – I’m yet to try any of them but I might have to pay Aldi a visit to see if they have any left. And I’m glad you enjoyed Peggy Porschen – I went for the first time this summer and found it so hard to choose one cake!
