little life snippets…

This is a lifestyle blog, so sometimes every now and again I like to just sit and ramble, about nothing in particular and show you little bits of my daily life, yes, even the not so exciting parts (sorry about that) So here’s some snippets and photos from my week, so far… I hope you’re all having a good week.
elle magazine tea
Reading Elle magazine, before running a bubble bath. I’m trying to get into ‘hot drinks’ hot chocolate with marshmallows galore aside, of course. So I bought some strawberry and raspberry flavoured tea… from Twinings. It’s okay, I just wish I didn’t crave diet coke and fizzy drinks so much, boo.

Two things I have been loving lately… This Fresh cream scented bubble bath from Philosophy which is available from John Lewis. perfect for fellow water babies, if you like smelling like marshmallows, cream and vanilla. Number two, these white ripped jeans from River Island in extra short length, yes you read that correctly… extra short length jeans, ahh every petite girls dream, Bless you River Island.
pink roses
I ran into the Co-Op last night for milk, and obviously left with a bag of giant buttons, a scratch card and two bouquets of pink and red roses at just £3.00 each I think they look blooming lovely. You don’t have to spend a fortune on fresh flowers for them to look great. I always add a pinch or two of sugar to the water whilst filling the vase, I find this keeps them fresher for a little longer. What do you think?
Some mornings you just need to eat chocolate filled bear shaped cakes and drink milk through a pink straw, okay? I also love flicking through this book every now and again you can find it here! It’s a list of lovely things to be happy about (14,000 things to be exact) I’ve lent my friends it many a time…

The minute I get home, I put my hair in a top knot, take my make up off and put my pyjamas on… I love taking my make up off and I adore this Elemis cleansing balm. It melts away my make up (even my stubborn eye make up) and leaves my skin feeling so soft and clean. my favourite cleanser is now available in supersize (200g!) have you tried this cleanser? I feel like it’s a little treat when I come home, i really enjoying using it and I’m so glad it doesn’t upset my sensitive skin!
Happy Thursday, it’s almost friday! UK readers… don’t forget to vote today! xo

Nice post! The book 14000 Things to be Happy About is such a fun read. Although I couldn't relate with some, it inspires me well enough to be more grateful for the littlest things every single day. 🙂

I love cleansing balms. I use the one from Clinique but I've been wanting to try Elemis's since a lot of bloggers talk about it. Sounds like I need to now 🙂
