Hello winter, time to get cosy!

You walk into a shop where Christmas music is playing distantly in the background, everyone around you is drinking Starbucks toffee nut latte’s and complaining about how it’s cold and dark early on a night now like this doesn’t happen every year. Yep, this means one thing and one thing only Christmas is on its way! I have already seen at least one house with its Christmas decorations up outside, fairy lights galore and an inflatable light up Olaf. For some reason, everyone seems super excited for Christmas this year. I must admit it has already started to creep into my house ever so slightly!
hello winter time to get cosy-2I bought a teeny tiny Christmas tree for my bedside table. I cannot get on board with putting up the ‘big tree’ at the beginning of November so that mini one will do for now. Isn’t it cute?dog gift tagspugs and kissesI picked up these dog-themed Christmas gift tags which I posted over on my Instagram story; you guys loved them they were from TK Maxx and were a total bargain as always! There was just no way I was leaving them on the shelf, I mean “Pugs and Kisses” and “Dachshund through the snow” ahh, so cute.
pinecone garlandI also bought this wooden pinecone and star-shaped glittery garland online from the Satchville Gift Company, and I am tempted to wrap some white fairy lights around it. I love anything rustic, shabby chic style at Christmas. I can’t decide whether to keep it on my headboard, drape it over the fireplace or even wrap it around the bannister!
mouse christmas decorationThis little mouse was also from TK Maxx, their selection of festive decorations is fantastic. Wreaths, gift boxes, wooden soldiers, garlands, scented candles, snowglobes the lot! Look at her sweet little scarf and glittery boots.
Jo Malone candleEverything just feels so cosy at Christmas, scented candles and fairy lights, to fluffy socks and new pyjamas, ahh I love it. I’m not sorry for starting to celebrate Christmas a little bit earlier this year. Have you got anything festive in your home at the minute? There are definitely two types of people when it comes to being festive. Some of us are singing along to Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas is you” in mid-October, and other people only put their tree up on December 24th haha each to their own!

Haha I love the cute little Christmas tree – I’m thinking about doing one of those pineapple ones just for a laugh. I feel since bonfire night has passed it’s totally acceptable to start getting excited because CHRISSTMAASSSSS! I can’t wait, but that’s mainly because I love eating haha.

I love the pine cone garland and it would definitely look fab with some fairy lights! I think the copper wire ones would look fab and they’d be so easy to wrap around. I can’t wait to have a house so I can do that around the banister!

I’ve been ready for Christmas since September!! Although I haven’t done much decorating, it’s been Christmastime for me in spirit πŸ˜› I’ve been drinking so much hot chocolate, lighting candles, and listening to Christmas music! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

I adore that little Christmas tree by your bedside πŸ™‚
I also love the pinecone garland. It’s the perfect “woodsy” piece to transition after fall and going into winter.

Those gift tags are too cute! I’ve never really been a fan of putting up decorations before December, but we have been making our house more cosy with fairy lights and candles, which I always love πŸ™‚
