Did I really need to buy this ‘Better Latte Than Never’ mug – no, but I bought it anyways, why? Because cute mugs make me happy okay? Sorry not sorry. I was impressed at the price, I thought it would be a little steeper than just £6.50 so in my eyes it’s a total bargain. Don’t you think? *puts it in the cupboard overflowing with novelty mugs* The best cupboard in the entire kitchen, obviously. It is also dishwasher and microwave safe hurrah, *googles microwave mug-cake recipes* Don’t judge me okay.
I also bought myself a bunch of Peonies, they were £6.00 from the co-op and after just one day they are blooming and blossoming, thank god! I have seen so many people buy a bunch of peonies for them to never open or bloom. I popped my bunch in some luke warm water overnight and added a teaspoon of sugar, and this morning they look beautiful. Maybe something to try if you’ve been struggling getting Peonies to bloom. I know, I know they’re all over instagram feeds everywhere but I don’t care I love them!
I also bought these flats in the ASOS sale last night, I couldn’t resist! I wanted them previously at £25.00 so when I saw they were reduced to £17.50 how could I not? They are a nude pointed flat with beautiful embellished black and white flowers, so sweet. I had spied a similar pair in Topshop but they looked like they’d fall apart after a few wears, these seem a lot more durable. What do you guys think? I seriously love that more shops are starting to stock and sell size 2 shoes in the women’s section, normally I’d have to buy a pair of insoles to go with these if these were a size 3, because they’d end up slipping off all the time!
What do you think of my sale purchases?
