Today is known as ‘Blue Monday’ the third Monday in January has been given this title due to a combination of post-Christmas blues, gloomy weather, dark nights and feeling the financial strain from not being paid until the 97th of January. So if you’re feeling a little under the weather, you may not be the only one! The gorgeous girls over at the Metro Centre sent me a lovely package to help cheer me up and tackle Blue Monday!
They sent me a snuggly throw from Primark Home, perfect for snuggling up on a cold rainy afternoon and watching ‘Sex Education’ on Netflix! If you haven’t watched this yet I definitely recommend it, I already cannot wait for season 2.
I have been wanting one of these water bottles for ages, after sticking to my New Year’s resolutions so far of limiting my fizzy drink in-take this will definitely help! They are available from WHSmith . I always feel so much better in myself when I up my water intake.
This ‘Don’t worry, be happy’ reed diffuser sends the perfect positive message to wake up to each morning on my bedside table. I cannot stand it when my room is messy and cluttered, it affects my mood, my concentration and even my ability to sleep. I love it when it’s clean, tidy and smelling fresh with candles and reed diffusers.I am a sucker for a long, relaxing bubble bath. It’s the ideal way to relax and de-stress taking 20 minutes for yourself. I cannot decide which of these bath goodies to use first! Either ‘rocket science’ bath bomb from Lush or this pretty pastel ‘mango slab’ from Miss Patisserie both smell incredible
These ‘sleep’ teabags from Twinings are perfect to enjoy just before bed containing chamomile, lavender, vanilla, hops and a hint of honey – the perfect blend to help you relax and drift off to sleep. I have even trying to go to bed earlier on an evening and also put my phone down a little bit more before bed, to help me properly switch off.
Thank you so much to the Metro Centre for this wellbeing hamper, I will be sharing more on my Instagram stories over on (milkbubbleteablog) I hope your Monday isn’t too blue!
