15 blogger problems…

I thought I would do a fun, light hearted post about some first world ‘blogger problems’ I know myself and others have experienced in the past. Let me know what you think of mine and please feel free to add in any of your own ‘blogger problems’ you have experienced in the comments πŸ™‚

iphone 6
1. Receiving emails that are addressed as your blog name ‘hi, milk’ I think this was the funniest one so far. That and the postman asking if he could get a signature for the surname ‘bubble tea’

2. Not being able to use your beautiful brand spanking new make up, until you’ve taken 1000 photo’s of it first.

3. Finally realising that the letter ‘J’ which has been at the end of many emails is in fact a πŸ™‚ symbol in Microsoft outlook, really brings a new tone to the email.

4. Winter. aka eternal darkness, where blog photography goes to die.

5. Having a never ending wish list, some blogger, somewhere, is always uploading new make up, clothing and home-ware hauls.

6. Parcel slips. You wait in all day sat by the letter box  because you know a parcel will be arriving shortly, You blink and there is a red ‘sorry we missed you’ slip, infuriating.

7. Instagram-ing everything. Because if you didn’t instagram it, did it even happen?

8. You go into boots for one thing and spend £50.00.

9. Risking your life for blog photo’s. Standing on tables, chairs, balancing your fancy pants camera on a box, on top of books, to get the best shot.

10. Writing out a full post, minutes away from publishing only for your browser to crash and lose it all.

11. Filling your entire memory card up with photo’s and only being happy with two.

12. Trying to attempt HTML and you end up deleting your entire blog…

13. Explaining to non-bloggers, what a blogger is. When Blogger doesn’t even think blog and blogger are real words in spellcheck.

14. Emails. Spam emails, forgetting to do your emails, when you forget you are doing your emails and you put way too many kisses, or even worse… emojis.

15.  Forgetting to have fun and enjoy it, sometimes these days it can be so easy to compare, blog designs, followers, opportunities etc. Instead of just enjoying it, meeting new people and having a bit of fun along the way.

Hahaha I think I laughed at everyone of these points. Not the same but similar, I work for a family magazine we own and the other day I got an email saying 'Miss Moreton,' as the magazine is Moreton Hall Directory. Hilarious, I laughed so much!

Loved these! I got red lipstick swatches on my postman when I took a parcel from him a couple of weeks ago and then I had wet nails the next time he turned up and covered him in nail polish too! He cautiously asked me whether I had painted my nails again today.. oops!

Number 3 made me laugh so much, I spent so long wondering why people kept ending their emails with a J!

  7. March 18, 2015 / 7:48 pm

I definitely had a good giggle at this! I'm always waiting for parcels and 9 times out of 10 I'll miss it by about 2 minutes. I think my postman must just sprint up and down my path, honestly!

HAHA! The first one made me laugh so much! But these are so incredibly accurate!! I've gone through many of these especially the waiting in for the postman and then seeing the red slip! Who knew ringing the doorbell would be so difficult? Great Post Milk!! πŸ˜‰ haha!!

I love the Blogger not recognising blog and blogger in the spell check!

I always make sure I write my full name along with my adress when replying to emails, so far I've never received anything I had to sign with Bubu πŸ˜‰

Haha lovely post! I can definitely relate to not using things until they've been photographed enough times to have a least one nice picture… I can be so slow at getting round to it though, things sit unused for ages and I can hardly contain my excitement when I eventually use them!

Oh my, number 12 sounds pretty scary. I had some of these scares over the years and it's terrifying to see that you've done something clearly wrong and then googling everything in panic trying to fix this. I love this post, these are so true!

I think another one would be getting so excited about getting a comment only to find out that it's just spam. (Not a problem for every blogger depending on the comment plugin they're using, but it can still be a problem.)

OMG I love this post! I love the email and mail addressed to your blog name. I am a newbie and haven't had that issue yet, but I can only imagine lol! OMG when I figured out the J was a πŸ™‚ in emails was the greatest day ever. I always wondered why people kept putting J, like could everyone seriously be making the same typo lol!! OMG and yes risking your life just to take a good picture. That is so me. I will do anything for a good picture, even stand on my husbands back lol him being 6'2 is totally beneficial lol. Great post darling.
